The EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) delete, is a process that removes the EGR valve from a diesel engine's emission control system. The EGR valve recirculates some of the engine's exhaust back into the engine to reduce emissions, but it can also cause problems. The EGR system cause carbon buildup in the intake manifold and reduce airflow to the engine.
Deleting the EGR system reduces carbon buildup and improves airflow to the engine. the engine allows to function without the EGR system, which can improve performance and fuel efficiency.
